Abstract. The purpose of this paper is to establish the Hyers-Ulam stability of the following Tribonacci and $k$-Tribonacci functional equations
\begin{align*}
f(x) &= f(x-1) + f(x-2) + f(x-3),\\
f(k, x) &= k f(k, x-1) + f(k, x-2) + f(k, x-3)
\end{align*}
in modular space.
