Abstract. The construction of wavelet packets was studied by Chui et. al. in (SIAM J. Math. Anal. 24 (3) 1993, 712-738). In this paper, for any integer dilation factor p ≥ 2, we construct a orthogonal p-wavelet packets based on the Walsh-Fourier transform.
