AGE-STRUCTURED MALARIA TRANSMISSION DYNAMIC MODEL WITH TEMPORAL IMMUNITY IN THE HUMAN POPULATION
Abstract
We develop and analyse an age-structured model of malaria transmissiondynamics taking into account an induced immunity in the human population. After computing the threshold number R0, we show the local andglobal asymptotic stability of the disease-free equilibrium state when R0 < 1.The existence of a unique endemic steady state and its local asymptotic stabilityare showed when R0 > 1.
