INVESTIGATIONS ON THE SMOOTH APPROXIMATION TO PoLY(X; N ) USING GAUSSIAN ERROR FUNCTION. RELATED PROBLEMS

Abstract


In this article we present smooth approximation to the activationfunction named PoLY(t; N ) where N > 1 is odd number using function F (t; N, a) depending on the Gaussian error function. We prove the inequality for the error betweenthese two functions.

Some issues related to modeling and simulation of filters characteristics and antennacharts (in an appropriate interval) are discussed.

Some numerical examples are presented using CAS MATHEMATICA.
