AN EXISTENCE PRINCIPLE OF OPTIMAL ENERGY CONTROL FOR A DAMPED SANDWICH BEAM
Abstract
A damped sandwich beam system described by partial differentialequations with boundary conditions is investigated in this paper. The systemis transferred to an abstract evolution equation interms of the system operatorsdefined on appropriate Hilbert spaces. A variable structural control problemfor the system is proposed, and an equivalent control theorem for the systemare obtained by means of semigroup of linear operators. Finally, a simulationresult is presented.
