A SOFTWARE TOOL FOR SIMULATING THE DYNAMICS OF A NEW EXTENDED FAMILY OF LOTKA–VOLTERRA COMPETITION MODEL
Abstract
In the present article is considered a modification of the Lotka–Volterracompetition model. The input functions (t) and (t) are ”polynomial interventionfactors” (monotonically increasing, or monotonically decreasing in the considered in-terval). We offer a software tool for simulating the dynamics of a new extended familyof the Lotka–Volterra model. We hope that the proposed module, implemented in theComputer Algebraic System CAS Mathematica, will support the work of researchersworking in this scientific field. More general extended family with ”polynomial inter-vention factors” (t), (t), (t) and (t) is also studied.
